Dr. Shivan Patel is thrilled to be your dentist.
Dr. Patel brings a depth of clinical training that goes well beyond the basics. He earned his dental degree from Boston University, one of the most respected dental institutions in the country, and a program known for its focus on cutting-edge techniques and innovative care. During his time there, he participated in dental mission trips to Hyderabad, India, and Antigua, Guatemala, where limited resources required creative problem-solving and adaptability. Those experiences shaped his approach to dentistry in a meaningful way, reinforcing his belief that great care is about precision, resourcefulness, and putting the patient first.
His commitment to advanced education has continued well past graduation. Dr. Patel recently completed an intensive, hands-on implant training program in Colombia, working alongside oral surgeons and implantologists on complex cases over the course of an entire week. That experience led to a fellowship award from the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, and he is currently pursuing fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He is also certified in Invisalign clear aligner therapy and is a member of the American Dental Association.
